Rainbow Light Network is an independent, Not-for-profit, faith –based, humanitarian, philanthropic, Non –governmental organization.
VISION: To raise vibrant youths, men and women, who will be able to defend their rights and privileges and nation void of moral decadence.
MISSION: Aggressive Sex education and empowerment campaigns through holistic approach to achieve moral and spiritual excellence amongst our target groups.
GOAL: To advocate and uphold the application of Biblical truth and principles towards Youths emancipation and societal development.
MOTTO: Our motto is “EMANCIPATING THE WORLD THROUGH THE WORD"
OBJECTIVES.
(i) To build a generation of young men and women dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
(ii) To raise awareness and campaign against the spread of HIV and AIDS with a view to delivering those affected/infected by the disease.
(iii) To teach, inform and educate the society on the practice of safe sex.
(iv) To use biblically sound sex education as an instrument of fighting sexual
decadence with its resultant effect on marriages and the society.
(v) To empower the less privileged in the society through the acquisition of life skills.
(v) To carry out awareness campaigns to villages, markets, churches etc.
(vi) To enhance and encourage livelihood activities and educational development of individuals towards the promotion of sustainable development and empowerment.
(vii) To improve socio-economic well-being of people in the society especially the orphans and vulnerable children and widows/widowers.
(viii) To gather information, carry out research, link with any group or groups locally, nationally or internationally to ensure the protection, preservation and provision of alternative source of livelihood activities to promote sustainable living.
(ix) Carry out aggressive sex education campaigns in secondary and tertiary institutions with the aim of reaching out to youths being the most vulnerable groups to sexual abuse.
(x) To raise or partner with other organizations and or individuals sharing the same views with RLN in the fight against abuse with aim of advocating for behavioral change among our target groups.
(xi) To do such other thing(s) as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives for which Rainbow Light Network (RLN) stands.
